Peptide Therapy at a Glance

  • Peptides are short chains of amino acids that act as building blocks for proteins in the body, and they signal cells to perform specific functions that support health, healing, and regeneration.
  • Peptide therapy is generally safe when prescribed and monitored by a qualified healthcare provider, with minimal side effects for most individuals. The prescribing part is not a formality; it is the whole thing.
  • At Bee Well℠, it starts with a telehealth consultation. A provider determines the right treatment and dosage for you, and your prescription is filled and shipped within 2 to 7 business days.
  • Peptides can be delivered by injection, oral capsule, topical cream, or nasal spray, depending on the peptide and the treatment plan.
  • We do not accept insurance. We do accept HSA and FSA cards; there are no hidden fees, and there is no long-term contract.

The Question We Hear Most

Peptides have become one of the most searched wellness topics of the year, and one of the least clearly explained. On our consultation calls, the questions arrive in the same order every time. What is a peptide? What can it help with? Is it safe? What does it cost? How do I start?

Bee Well℠ answers all five below. Peptide therapy here is prescribed and monitored by a qualified healthcare provider, and it comes to you rather than the other way around. No clinic, no waiting room, no half day off work.

This is educational information, not medical advice. A consultation with a licensed provider is the right first step for anyone considering a new therapy.

What Are Peptides?

Peptides are short chains of amino acids that act as building blocks for proteins in the body. They play a key role in signaling cells to perform specific functions that support health, healing, and regeneration.

Think message rather than material. Your body already runs thousands of processes on its own, and peptides are part of how it tells those processes when to start. Peptide therapy works at the cellular level to optimize your body’s natural functions rather than adding something foreign to the system.

The approach is targeted rather than broad, which is exactly why it needs a provider deciding what to target. At Bee Well℠, that decision belongs to a licensed provider on a consultation call, not to a menu.

How Does Peptide Therapy Work?

Peptides send targeted signals to cells, helping regulate and enhance natural processes such as tissue repair, hormone balance, immune support, and anti-aging functions.

Targeted is the operative word. A signal only matters if it is the right signal for the right person, so what is appropriate depends on your health history, your current medications, and what you are actually trying to change. There is no universal peptide protocol.

Our peptide services are designed to activate your body’s repair processes, promoting faster recovery, reducing inflammation, and enhancing tissue regeneration. The therapy supports what your body already does, under supervision, on a plan built for you.

What Can Peptide Therapy Help With?

Peptide therapy can support recovery from injuries, improve energy levels, enhance muscle growth, promote better sleep, boost cognitive function, and aid in skin rejuvenation.

Most people arrive with one of those in mind and find the others are connected. Someone books because recovery between training sessions has slowed, and what they actually want back is the energy that used to make training easy. Someone else comes in focused on sleep and turns out to be describing three years of accumulated stress. Your provider sorts that out on the call.

Peptide therapy is ideal for those seeking improved performance, anti-aging benefits, and long-term health optimization. That last phrase matters most, because this is not a category built around a fast result. It rewards a plan you stay on and a provider who keeps checking in, which is why Bee Well℠ builds monthly follow-up into the service.

Peptide therapy does not replace sleep, nutrition, movement, or medical care when you need it. If a situation calls for a doctor or emergency care, that comes first. In an emergency, call 911 immediately.

How Are Peptides Administered?

Peptides can be delivered through injections, oral capsules, topical creams, or nasal sprays, depending on the specific peptide and treatment plan.

The route is a clinical decision, not a preference, and your provider settles it during the consultation. Some plans are self-administered at home on a simple schedule. Others involve a nurse. If your protocol includes an injection you will be doing yourself, our team walks you through it rather than leaving you with a printout.

The same principle runs through our menu. Glutathione therapy is offered as an intramuscular injection that takes two to five minutes and can be self-administered at home, or as a needle-free nasal spray for daily maintenance. The delivery method should fit the protocol and the person.

Is Peptide Therapy Safe?

When prescribed and monitored by a qualified healthcare provider, peptide therapy is generally safe, with minimal side effects for most individuals.

Safety and supervision are the same idea. The condition at the front of that sentence is what makes this a medical service rather than a purchase.

At Bee Well,℠ that supervision is structural. Our Medical Director is Dr. Randolph Torres, MD, a board-certified internal medicine physician with more than two decades of medical experience. Treatments are administered by trained and licensed registered nurses. We maintain strict protocols and use premium pharmaceutical-grade ingredients, and we are LegitScript Certified, which is third-party verification of how a healthcare business actually operates.

It also means we say no sometimes. If your health history or your goals point somewhere else, you will hear that on the consultation call rather than after you have paid for something.

Meet the Physician Behind the Protocols

Most wellness businesses will tell you they have medical oversight. Fewer will tell you the physician’s name. Ours is on the website.

Dr. Randolph Torres is a board-certified internal medicine physician serving patients in Denison, Texas, and the surrounding Texoma region, with more than two decades of medical experience. He earned his medical degree from the Universidad Autónoma de Guadalajara School of Medicine, completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Damas Hospital in Puerto Rico, and pursued advanced fellowship training in Nephrology through Methodist Health System in Dallas. He is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine.

His clinical focus is preventive medicine, chronic disease management, hospital medicine, and kidney health, and his approach is built around personalized treatment plans that support long-term wellness. That orientation shapes how our protocols are built. Long-term, personalized, and reviewed rather than issued once and forgotten.

Our nursing team carries similar depth. It includes a Doctor of Nursing Practice who is also a board-certified Nurse Midwife and Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner with 19 years of experience, nurses with backgrounds in critical care, cardiac recovery for open-heart surgery patients, the surgical ICU, vascular access, labor and delivery, pediatrics, operating room leadership, emergency medicine, and neonatal intensive care. Several have been practicing for well over a decade. You can read their bios on our About page.

How It Works, Step by Step

Four steps, start to finish.

First, you choose a convenient time and day for your consultation and fill out the intake form to book your appointment. You will receive a Zoom link by email ahead of the appointment.

Second, you meet your provider by video. During the consultation, our doctor will determine the best treatment and dosage for you. It is a conversation about your health rather than a pitch, which is why most people find it easier than they expected.

Third, after your prescription is written, you’ll be directed to payment, and you can expect your prescription to arrive within 2 to 7 business days.

Fourth, we check in on your progress every month to ensure you’re on track. Follow-up is built into the service rather than sold as an add-on, which is what separates a supervised protocol from a recurring shipment.

If your plan involves in-person care, that comes to you as well. Our licensed nurses travel to your home, hotel, office, or event, arriving with everything needed and a compassionate approach for a safe and relaxing experience.

Four-step process: book, consult, receive prescription, monthly check-in

Who Is Peptide Therapy For?

Peptide therapy is described as ideal for those seeking improved performance, anti-aging benefits, and long-term health optimization. In our practice, that tends to look like a handful of recognizable situations.

  • Active people whose recovery has slowed down and who want something structured rather than another supplement shelf.
  • Professionals dealing with low energy, poor sleep, or brain fog that has quietly become the baseline.
  • Clients already working with us on a weight loss program or IV therapy who want to know what fits alongside it.
  • People focused on healthy aging, skin quality, and long-term wellness who would rather have a doctor involved than guess.
  • Anyone who has been reading about peptides online and would like to ask a licensed provider about it without committing to anything.

That last group is larger than you would think, and those calls are the easiest ones. Bring the questions. There is no obligation attached to asking, and no pressure if the answer turns out to be not right now.

What Does Peptide Therapy Cost, and How Do You Pay?

Peptide protocols are personalized, so your provider determines the treatment and dosage during your consultation, and the cost follows from what is actually prescribed. How the money works, though, is not a mystery, and we will tell you before you book.

  • We do not accept any public or private insurance health plans.
  • We do accept HSA and FSA cards for IV therapy and telehealth treatments.
  • There are no hidden fees. If a medication carries an additional cost, our provider will clearly inform you of that cost before prescribing.
  • There is no long-term contract. Bee Well℠ telehealth is offered on a month-to-month basis, and you can cancel anytime through our website.

No contract and no surprise charge is a low bar that plenty of businesses in this category do not clear, and clients tell us it is the reason they were comfortable starting.

Peptides and IV Therapy, Working Alongside Each Other

Many of our peptide clients found us through IV therapy first, and the two fit together naturally.

IV therapy delivers fluids directly into your bloodstream, ensuring rapid and effective hydration, and by bypassing the digestive system, it ensures your body receives the full benefits of the nutrients included. It’s commonly used for hydration, nutrient optimization, athletic performance and recovery, immune support, detoxification, and energy.

A peptide protocol works on a different timeline. One supports how you feel over the next day or two; the other is a longer arc you review month to month. Whether you need one, the other, or both is a question for your provider, and sometimes the honest answer is that one is plenty.

On the IV side, an infusion takes about 45 minutes on average, though it varies depending on your veins and how dehydrated you are. Appointments generally run 45 to 60 minutes door to door, and most clients relax, work, or spend the time however they like.

The Queen Bee: Beauty Support From the Inside

Peptides get the headlines. The Queen Bee gets the photos.

The Queen Bee is built to restore your radiance. Your skin, hair, and nails will thank you for it, and you should be ready for people to ask what your secret is. It includes Biotin, Vitamin C, and B-12, and like every infusion on our menu, it’s administered by a licensed registered nurse wherever you are.

It’s a favorite ahead of weddings, reunions, and photo days, when a nurse coming to the house beats a clinic appointment on the morning of an event.

Glutathione Therapy: Your Body’s Master Antioxidant

Glutathione is your body’s master antioxidant, naturally found in your cells, where it protects against oxidative stress and supports immune function. Levels decline with age, stress, poor diet, environmental toxins, and certain health conditions.

Our glutathione therapy is doctor-prescribed and delivered to your door across the Dallas-Fort Worth area, and it’s commonly explored for immune support, sustained energy, skin tone and clarity, detoxification support, athletic recovery, and mental clarity.

There are two delivery options. An intramuscular injection takes two to five minutes, offers maximum bioavailability, can be self-administered at home, and is well suited to a loading phase. A nasal spray is needle-free, painless, self-administered, and built for daily maintenance. Most patients notice initial improvements in energy and well-being within two to four weeks of consistent treatment, with visible skin improvements typically emerging after four to six weeks.

Glutathione also appears as an add-on across our infusion menu and inside several of our drips, so if you’re already booking an IV, ask your nurse whether it belongs in yours.

PRP for Hair Loss: A Non-Surgical Option, Delivered Mobile

Thinning hair is one of the most common concerns clients raise with us, and PRP is the option they ask about most.

PRP, or platelet-rich plasma therapy, uses growth factors from your own blood to activate dormant hair follicles, improve scalp health, and encourage the natural growth of thicker, stronger hair. The process is straightforward: a small amount of your blood is drawn, processed to concentrate the platelets, and then injected into the scalp, where those platelets release growth factors that encourage follicle regeneration and strengthen existing hair.

Because PRP uses your own blood, the risk of allergic reactions or side effects is extremely low, and most patients only experience mild tenderness or redness at the injection site. It’s ideal for individuals with thinning hair, early-stage hair loss, or decreased hair density caused by genetics, stress, or aging.

Many patients notice reduced shedding within the first month, with visible hair regrowth typically appearing between three and six months. This is a course of treatment rather than a single appointment, and a consultation comes first so a provider can confirm you’re a good candidate. NAD+ Therapy, and One Point of Accuracy

NAD+ therapy replenishes a vital coenzyme that fuels energy production, supports brain function, and promotes healthy aging. It’s known for its role in DNA repair, cellular regeneration, and metabolic health, and it can boost energy, improve mental clarity, enhance athletic recovery, support healthy aging, and promote overall cellular function.

We offer it in three ways. Intravenous NAD+ replenishes nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide directly. Injectable NAD+ is administered through an injection. Intranasal NAD+ delivers it directly through the nasal passages, allowing for fast absorption into the bloodstream, which is the option clients choose when an infusion won’t fit the week.

One point of accuracy. NAD+ is a coenzyme, not a peptide. Peptides are short chains of amino acids, while nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide is a different molecule doing a different job. You’ll find NAD+ listed on peptide menus all over the country anyway. We categorize our own services correctly, because a business that approximates the easy details tends to approximate the hard ones too.

For the deeper version, read our full guide to NAD+ and cellular energy.

The Wider Regenerative Menu

Peptide therapy sits inside a larger set of services, and a good consultation will tell you where you actually belong in it. We offer 30+ services, and the regenerative side includes more than most people realize.

  • Exosomes for wellness and regeneration, for hair loss, and as part of cancer support therapies.
  • At-home stem cell therapy, delivered in your own space rather than a clinic.
  • Autologous serum eye drops for dry eye, prepared on-site by a nurse in about 90 minutes, currently offered in Grayson and Collin County.
  • A functional medicine consult for people who want the whole picture examined rather than a single service.
  • Our medical weight loss program, delivered through the same telehealth pathway with monthly follow-up.
  • Event IV therapy for gatherings large or small, which is how a lot of North Texas first meets us.

The range matters because a provider who can see all of it can give you the honest answer, including when the thing you came in asking about isn’t your right starting place.

What Our Clients Actually Say

Our clients describe it better than we can.

“It’s so convenient to have a nurse come to your house when you’re feeling down and get IV hydration with beneficial supplements and meds. It’s like a concierge service for your health and wellness, and it’s cool they also offer peptides and exosomes for targeted issues.” Marilyn Pham

“Bee Well℠ has been an incredible experience from start to finish. The team is warm, knowledgeable, and genuinely committed to helping people feel their best. Every visit feels welcoming, and they take the time to listen, answer questions, and truly understand my needs.” Christina W.

“I have been working with Bee Well℠ for the last few weeks and have seen a significant improvement in how I feel. I have more energy, less pain, and overall just much healthier mentally and physically.” Cindy Williams

Individual experiences vary, and none of these are a promise about your results. What clients mention most often isn’t a specific therapy. It’s that someone knowledgeable came to them and took the time.

Getting the Most From a Peptide Protocol

A few habits separate the clients who get something out of a protocol from the ones who quietly stop after six weeks.

Give it a real window. Change in this category is gradual, which is why the monthly check-in exists. Agree on a timeline with your provider at the start so you both know what you’re measuring.

Track something small. Sleep quality, recovery between sessions, energy at three in the afternoon. Two lines in your phone once a week is plenty. Memory is a poor instrument for this, and clients who track give their provider something concrete to adjust against on the follow-up form.

Keep the foundations in place. Hydration, sleep, protein, and movement are what a protocol is layered onto, and they’re the first thing we check when someone says nothing is happening. In a North Texas summer, hydration slips further than most people realize.

Store and handle everything exactly as instructed, and ask if you’re unsure. Storage requirements vary by medication, and there are no dumb questions on this one.

Stay in touch between check-ins. If something changed, or nothing did, your provider wants to know. Adjustment is the entire point of supervision.

Where We Serve

Convenience is at our core. Skip the crowded clinic entirely, because our licensed medical experts come to you, whether that’s your home, hotel, office, or a special event.

For IV therapy, we currently serve the DFW metroplex, North Texas, and Southern Oklahoma, including Denton, Fort Worth, and Frisco, and we’ll be expanding to the Greater Los Angeles area soon. For telehealth, including consultations, we’re licensed in 24 states and Washington, D.C., so a peptide consultation is available well beyond our IV footprint. Autologous serum eye drops are currently offered in Grayson and Collin County in North Texas.

Why Clients Choose Bee Well℠

At Bee Well℠, we believe in nurturing wellness from within. Day-to-day that looks fairly unglamorous: strict protocols, premium pharmaceutical-grade ingredients, licensed people, and a plan built around you rather than a menu.

More than 7,000 patients across 30+ services. A 5.0 rating out of 65 reviews. Ranked number one in DFW & Southern Oklahoma for mobile IV therapy. LegitScript Certified. And 100% patient-focused, which is easy to put on a website and harder to keep doing on a Sunday when someone needs a nurse.
